I went to Lake of the Ozarks with Jeanie Bethmann along with Mary and Linda Iffrig. We are all flood women going to escape the water here and do some shopping. We all found a few thing we couldn't do without. Mine was a Prada purse. I love it. Here are some pictures I too
k on 7-2-08 when we got back in town.
This one is on Silvers Rd. looking north at the first curve. Jim and Elaine Bethmann are just pass the curve.
This picture is of the Chipley's house and barn.

Now we are on Hwy. C. This is just past the train tracks looking north.

Straight ahead is at Schulte's corner.

Dave and I took a ride out toward the farm. Here is what Hwy 370 looks like today.
Then we went down Silvers Rd. This is the Other Bethmann's shed on Silvers Rd. across from their houses. You can see the water line on the shed.
This is Silvers Rd. at the 2 sharp curves. The Bethmann farm is way down there on the left.
We are still on Silvers Rd.

This is at the "S" curve. Look at all the trash on the road. We still can't make it into the farm this way either.
Straight ahead is at Schulte's corner.
We hope to be able to get in, maybe by tractor, this weekend. More pictures when I get them.
Happy 4th.
Getting Dryer!
Happy Summer,
Love,
Mickey
