Look At The Ducks!!
I guess someone told the ducks that the hunting season is over. They found the corn that was left in the fields. There wasn't enough for Dave to pick in the East Lake so the ducks are having a feast on it now. They also found some corn in the New lake that was missed by the combine. That will be that much less volunteer for us to spray next year.
Dave is still busy working on the sick decoys. Not much to do with the snow on the fields. Last Thursday/Friday we got 6 1/2" of snow. The farmers with the wheat fields needed that a week ago when we had the very cold temps. We don't have the wheat to worry about. Anyway it won't be long until we are busy again in the fields.
Dave took these pictures on Sunday. It was raining. The snow won't be here for long. They are predicting warm temps on Monday.

Mandy is due on Feb. 16th. We are planning on going to DC to see the baby. I wll post pictures of our first grandchild when we get some. Well we already have the ultrasound pictures but I will wait and put on pictures when the baby is here. The baby is already 7lbs. 6 oz. and growing. I can't wait . Only 12 days to go. This picture she is 34 weeks pregnant. That was almost a month ago.
More next week. Well maybe if I am not in DC.
Enjoy.
Happy Winter!
Love,
Mickey
